For the Data Science team, we are looking for a Senior IT Product Lead for our AI platform, with approximately three to six years of experience in a Product Owner role and at least two to three years of experience in a PO role with AI, preferably in a commercial environment.

As IT Product Lead AI platform you are passionate about improving and maintaining a hybrid platform(both cloud and on-prem). All of the Odido (Generative) AI solutions are built and hosted here, or will be: AI for the Call center, Marketing Automation, Network Operation. It contains several local on-premise servers with multiple powerful GPUs, while the cloud environment is also versatile using the largest cloud AI infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure and GCP).

It is your job to select where workflows will go and design scalable and cost efficient platform. We know there are not many of these in the world, but that’s what makes this so exciting

You are responsible for:

  • Creating and managing the (Gen) AI platform roadmap, prioritizing features based on business impact, technical feasibility and user needs.
  • Ensuring that all AI products have scalable platform to execute on
  • Minimize the costs of running these solutions
  • Making choices of which types of data should be process locally or in the cloud, taking into account privacy, scalability and cost
  • Reuse solutions between different AI products
  • Balancing new features against technical improvements and maintaining a balance between innovation and addressing technical debt.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as the data science and data engineering functions ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stay up to date on emerging GenAI technologies and industry trends relevant to IT products/travel.
  • Drive innovation within IT by exploring and adopting new GenAI technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About the team:

You will lead the AI Platform team The core focus of this team is to enable leveraging of all capabilities that the AI offers, ranging from automation, support and analytics capabilities. All AI product teams are your stakeholders.

The position will be in the Data Science team, which is a part of the Digital IT department. We have a diverse team with people from 5 continents The platform team is currently expanding and consists of multiple Data Engineers and Data Scientist roles. On a daily basis, you will work closely with your team, the AI product teams, as well as multiple business stakeholders (Mass Market, Customer Operations, Enterprise, Network) to also be able to understand the AI products which are built and our platform needs to host.

In addition, you will work closely with other product development teams such as CRM (Salesforce), Voice/Routing platform (Genesys) and the Chatbot team.

In this role, you will have a high degree of end-to-end responsibility and be the expert when it comes to further leveraging GenAI capabilities for Odido employees and customers.

You bring this

There are some things you can't learn at university, but they come naturally.

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably managing a platform.
  • Experience with GenAI and Large Language Models (at least 2 years in an advisory/consultancy or product owner role).
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Dutch is a pre.
  • Strong focus on results, with a background in both business acumen and high quality digital product delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile working methods and extensive experience in working according to agile principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-driven, enthusiastic and decisive mindset.
  • Knowledge of GenAI/LLM capabilities, scaling and cost management of various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of operating GEN AI on prem
  • Knowledge on how to balance cloud and local servers into one high preforming platform
