Your responsibilities will include analysing spatial data, developing custom geoprocessing scripts and tools, designing interactive web maps, and integrating GIS functionalities into existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS technologies, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, experience with GIS software and a proven track record of delivering high-quality GIS solutions.

Develop and maintain GIS applications to create new spatial/navigation data from various sources.
Design and implement geodatabases (PostGIS), spatial data models, and data management workflows.
Write custom geoprocessing scripts and tools using Python.
Create interactive web maps and applications using Open Source and Industry standard tools.
Perform data manipulation, transformation, and analysis tasks using GIS software.
Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies and industry trends.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
~3+ years of experience in GIS development or a related role.
~ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and PostgreSQL.
~ Experience with using Python libraries for Geo-data Manipulations.
~ Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data analysis techniques, and cartographic principles.
~ Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks (e.g., Experience in working with open data such as OpenStreetMap and Overture, web scraping and deep learning will be considered as a plus.
