Join the team in IJmuiden, as a Site Manager, overseeing daily service operations in the renewable energy sector with Siemens Gamesa, a global leader in wind power solutions.

The Site Manager will be reporting to the Service Operations Manager and will be a member of the site team in IJmuiden.

Key Responsibilities:

The Site Manager on shift has the overall operational responsibility for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) on Site and the directive decision-making authority for all daily Service operations. Provide visible, strong and active EHS leadership within the Site and Project.

Responsible to ensure the issuance of EHS standards, regulations, and procedures to ensure a safe environment and to perform within your leading function as a role model. Also, the site manager will be

responsible for ensuring that activities at site comply with company and project targets regarding Safety, Schedule, Cost and Quality.

Active management of Risks and Opportunities of the site. And in case of deviations responsible for developing and implementing countermeasures whilst providing transparency for escalation and reporting.

Customer management on site. Representing SGRE and the Service project as the first counterpart on Site towards the customer.

Experience with customers is a must

(Functional) Leadership of the site team consisting of Planners, Technicians, and stockkeepers.

Contribute to improve Service KPIs as well as reporting.

Siemens Gamesa is proud to be involved in the Hollandse Kust Zuid (Holland Coast South) wind park. This project is important for renewable energy in the Netherlands. This offshore wind park, located off the coast of South Holland, represents a crucial step forward in the country's renewable energy goals, providing clean, reliable power to thousands of households.

This role offers a rotational schedule of 5 days of 12 hours on (including weekends and holidays) and 5 days off.

Functie-eisen

What do you need?

  • Experience in offshore wind, preferably in service operations, oil, and gas offshore is also suitable.
  • Experience as a site manager (you'll manage over 80 FTE)
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • In possession of driving licence B and a car.
  • Experience with ERP systems and a good knowledge of Office 365 & other Microsoft applications.
  • Fluent in English, preferably also fluent in Dutch.
  • Living within 50 km of IJmuiden
  • Technical background, preferably in renewable energy or similar
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • Salary: €4800 - €5500 p.m. based on full-time (excl. add-ons, holidays etc.).
  • Hours: rotational schedule of 5 days on and 5 days off.
  • Location: IJmuiden - you need to live in the area (50 km max) already
  • Start date: flexible, but the sooner, the better
  • Contract: 1 year via Yacht, after that extension or a perm contract with the company is possible
