Manpower is looking for a proces operator for Dow in Hoek.

As a proces operator you will perform the following working activities:
  • Independently following principles and procedures to safely and efficiently operate plant sections
  • Responsible for excellent operation, reporting serious issues related to EH&S, quality, and capacity
  • Operating process equipment and performing checks in the plant
  • Monitoring process conditions, equipment, and control systems
  • Carrying out assigned tasks from the Master Task List, such as checks, preparing equipment, and taking samples
  • Aligning work and process results with plant and business goals
  • Solving problems using troubleshooting techniques and participating in Root Cause investigations
  • Sharing knowledge about plant operations and performing assigned Crisis Response activities
  • Using knowledge and experience to improve plant results and Operating Discipline

  • At least an MBO level 3 diploma, preferably in process technology
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a process operator
  • Good command of the Dutch language (C1) both spoken and written, due to the nature of the work
  • Availability for 40 hours per week
  • VCA VOL certification (or willingness to obtain it)
