De Logistics Associate speelt een cruciale rol in het waarborgen van de naadloze en efficiënte stroom van materialen, producten en informatie binnen de organisatie. Deze functie omvat het beheer van de logistieke en supply chain-processen om de activiteiten te optimaliseren, de kosten te verlagen en de algehele efficiëntie te verbeteren. Het primaire doel is om de tijdige levering van goederen en diensten te ondersteunen met behoud van hoge kwaliteitsnormen.
Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:
o Supply Chain Management:
- Toezien op en beheren van het end-to-end supply chain proces, inclusief inkoop, transport en distributie.
- Samenwerken met leveranciers en verkopers om een tijdige levering van materialen en onderdelen te garanderen.
- Strategieën implementeren om voorraadniveaus te optimaliseren en voorraaduitval of overtollige voorraad te minimaliseren.
o Logistieke coördinatie:
- Coördineren van transportactiviteiten, waaronder routeplanning, verzending en leveringsschema's.
- Bewaak en volg zendingen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze op tijd geleverd worden en pak eventuele problemen of vertragingen direct aan.
- Werk nauw samen met vervoerders en logistieke dienstverleners om te onderhandelen over contracten en te zorgen voor kosteneffectieve oplossingen.
o Voorraadbeheer:
- Ontwikkelen en implementeren van strategieën voor voorraadbeheer om de nauwkeurigheid te verbeteren en de transportkosten te verlagen.
- Regelmatige audits en cyclustellingen uitvoeren om de integriteit van de inventaris te handhaven.
- Vraagvoorspellingen analyseren en voorraadniveaus dienovereenkomstig aanpassen.
o Procesverbetering:
- Mogelijkheden identificeren voor procesverbeteringen binnen de logistieke en supply chain-functies.
- Best practices implementeren om activiteiten te stroomlijnen en de efficiëntie te verbeteren.
- Voortdurend beoordelen en bijwerken van logistieke procedures om te voldoen aan veranderende bedrijfsbehoeften.
o Multifunctionele samenwerking:
- Samenwerken met andere afdelingen zoals productie, verkoop en klantenservice om een gecoördineerde aanpak van logistiek te garanderen.
- Aanpakken en oplossen van logistiek gerelateerde problemen die van invloed kunnen zijn op de algemene bedrijfsvoering.
- Ondersteuning bieden aan andere teams bij het begrijpen en optimaliseren van logistieke processen.
