How you can help shape it

• Your job will involve programming solutions based on our Merlin CPQ configuration platform for our customers. You will use your skills as a Java developer and professionalize them step by step.
• At the center of our solution is our product configuration server M.Core, which is technically based entirely on Java (currently OpenJDK 17), is executed in a Tomcat application server and offers its services as RESTful web services to the various Angular web clients.
• The algorithmic core is a constraint-based solver that works hand in hand with an OR optimizer to find ecologically optimal configurations, for example.
• Concrete activity is primarily programming in Java, but also creating tests, participating in code reviews and contributing your developments to the common codebase.
• State-of-the-art technologies support you in your work, including Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarLint, Docker, Kubernetes, Confluence, Jira and many more. You can choose your own hardware equipment so that you have everything you need for efficient programming.

Your skills

• You have a degree in a computer science-oriented degree program or are about to graduate.
• You have some programming experience in Java (or other object-oriented programming languages). You may have already implemented specific software solutions as part of internships or private projects.
• You enjoy working with modern technologies, frameworks and tools and sharing your knowledge with your team members.
• Sustainability and green configuration are important to you - in this environment, you want to drive our products and customer solutions forward and play an active role in shaping them.
• In addition to programming, you always think outside the box and enjoy driving improvements.
