As our Business Development Director, you will be results-driven and drive strategic growth through new business development and relationship management with Regional Airlines and/or other Aviation customers. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, generating leads, and cultivating relationships to convert leads into partnerships. You will act as a key point of contact for airline clients, helping them navigate our solutions and improve their digital transformation journey.

**Key responsibilities & duties include**:
Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Development:

- Proactively identify and generate new leads through research, industry events, and networking within the regional airline sector
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create tailored campaigns aimed at attracting potential airline clients
- Drive business growth by securing meetings with decision-makers at regional airlines or other customers and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline

Client Relationship Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing regional airline clients, acting as their trusted advisor for Digital, Cloud, and Data solutions
- Engage regularly with airline stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide product demonstrations, and position our solutions as their preferred choice
- Address client queries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales engagement strategies to drive the growth of our Digital, Cloud, and Data Transformation services within the aviation industry or selected industry
- Lead the proposal and negotiation process, working closely with internal teams (e.g. Pre-Sales, Solutions, Legal) to craft compelling, tailored solutions for clients
- Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and client needs to refine sales strategies and capitalise on emerging opportunities

Revenue Growth & Reporting:

- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by expanding our presence with regional airlines or selected industry
- Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance analyses for senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper invoicing and resolve any billing issues as required

**Required Skills**:

- Proven experience in sales or business development, within the aviation sector or selling Digital, Data or AWS Cloud services
- Demonstrable success in business development including New Logos and managing client relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of Digital, Cloud, and Data Transformation solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at various levels of an organisation
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently whilst collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Ability to travel across Europe for client meetings and industry events as required
- Fluency in English; additional European languages would be advantageous
