**About Role**

We're seeking a ESG and sustainability strategist to join Cognizant's sustainability practice. You'll be working with a global team of sustainability and digital experts who use Cognizant's vast expertise in modernising technology, reimagining processes, and transforming experiences to help our clients stay ahead in a fast-changing world.

As part of this role, you will collaborate with sustainability experts and offer owners to enhance existing propositions. You will also provide support during pre-sales and participate in client advisory projects. Our offers aim to provide solutions to clients across various industries and levels of the organization. We require someone who is adaptable and enthusiastic about working on data use cases that range from the manufacturing plant to the boardroom.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Work with sustainability experts to identify use cases and develop offers to solve them.

2. Review and enhance (data) strategy advisory frameworks, with focus on how to leverage sustainability data insights for clients

3. Advise our clients on how to shape their strategies and roadmaps to enhance their sustainability data maturirty.

4. Validate offers and use cases with clients and implement a cycle of continuous improvement.

5. Lead key advisory projects (optimally 30-40% of the time)

6. Manage partnerships with key technology providers, develop accelerator ideas and drive their implementation with the sustainability practice delivery team.

7. Grow & mentor the team in line with the project pipeline.
- Analytically strong with a technical background (engineering, data science, digital), and/or sustainability, with experience in manufacturing, logistics, energy, utilities or similar domain.
- Able to communicate and influence others effectively
- Can speak from a position of personal authority
- Advanced degree (masters/PhD/MBA) is required.
- Sustainability experience or expertise is nice to have but not required.
- Experience with ESG reporting is desired.
- Business analysist certification e.g. BCS, BABOK is desired. Developing you consultancy skills will be expected
- Extensive industry or consulting experience,
- strong client facing advisory experience
- some experience with transformational projects
- Advanced degree (MSC/PhD/MBA)
