**Reporting Manager: Reports primarily to the Area Manager Netherlands with a dotted line to the European Graduate Trainee Program Manager**

**What will you be doing?**
**At VEOLIA Water Technologies & Solutions we offer our graduates a challenging 12-month program focused on developing their essential and technical skills through a combination of in person, virtual and on the job training. Each graduate in our program takes on a focused role to develop their expertise in a specific area and make a difference for the local team.**

**Key Objectives**:
**After the cross-European training program the key objective is to grow into the role of Account Manager in order to retain and grow our business in the water treatment industry in the Netherlands**
**Responsibilities**:
**Upon graduation of the program, this talent should be able to take on the role of Account Manager in the process & water treatment industry to retain existing and win new recurring business at key accounts and prospects and realize sustainable long-term profitable growth. The post-holder will develop strong relationships at our major accounts in the assigned geographic area. The following activities are a guideline, others can be part of the job scope**:
- ** Comply with integrity and safety as required by VEOLIA policies.**
- ** Own and drive the development of strategic relationships at key accounts at all levels in the water treatment industry.**
- ** The ultimate goal is to achieve business targets and objectives through customer retention and by delivering value to our valued customers. This requires a technical domain expertise combined with good commercial acumen and tactics.**
- ** Through strong and proven relationship skills you understand the customer needs and deliver our solutions which generate value. This with the support of our service, customer care, technology, commercial operations, supply chain and other support teams.**
- ** Provide accurate updates to our business and drive our delivery commitment to our customers.**
- ** Carry out the technical services and provide the necessary verbal and written recommendations to ensure trouble-free plant operations for the assigned customers.**
- ** Your success will be measured on delivering customer retention, customer satisfaction surveys and your support to the commercial team in developing a target pipeline by bringing highly valued solutions using the entire VEOLIA Water Technologies & Solutions offering.**
- ** Actively participate in service/ sales team meetings and training sessions**
- ** Report all work-related incidents, high risk situations, near misses, accidents and damage to property.**

**Qualifications** Minimum requirements**
- **A B.Sc. or higher degree in Engineering or Applied Science with a Chemical background.**:
- **Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written**:
- **High competence with Microsoft Windows and/or Google Workspace tools**:
- **Drivers license B**
**Useful Skills or Abilities**
- **Showing a high interest in commercial or key account management**:
- **Excellent presentation and accurate reporting skills**:
- **Strong flexibility and problem-solving abilities**:
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**:
