**Your Role**:
As an (IT) Audit Trainee, you will emerge yourself in the field of IT, learning and understanding the principles, standards, and procedures of auditing cloud environments. This involves studying (IT) auditing principles, relevant laws and regulations, and familiarizing yourself with cloud fundamentals and IT industry best practices. You will perform and assist in various types of audits, including but not limited to ISAE, ISO27001 and public cloud audits. As Schuberg Philis delivers mission critical IT solutions to vital industries of The Netherlands, you will play a role in ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards.

As an internal auditor within Schuberg Philis, I play a pivotal role in guiding important decisions across the company, leveraging a holistic view that encompasses every aspect of our organization. On a daily basis I engage with multiple internal teams, making my role highly social and collaborative. Of course, there's also the technical aspect of my role, which keeps me on my toes. Given the rapid advancements in public cloud technologies that we use within SBP, staying updated is crucial to effectively audit these environments, requiring continuous learning to ensure proficiency in assessing their complexities and risks.
**Key Responsibilities and Focus**:
- Supporting in different types of audits (e.g., ISAE3402, ISO27001, public cloud) across diverse sectors and industries (e.g., finance, retail, logistics), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Grow into becoming a trusted advisor within the company for questions on audit, risk, compliance, and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams, analysing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with external auditors of our customers to facilitate and support the audits, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Learn to identify risks, assist in defining mitigating measures, and contribute to the implementation projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, aligning audits with the latest standards.
- Working with different technologies, particularly in the public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
**Success in this role requires a unique blend of skills and traits**:
- Bachelor/Master's degree and/or 0-1 years of work experience in a relevant field.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to bring theory into practice in a pragmatic way.
