**What you’ll do**:

- Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, TomTom is seeking a creative Art Director for Video, Photography, and Motion to lead our in-house team of animators, photographers, videographers, and producers, and partner with external agencies, ensuring the best possible production quality for our internal clients. As a member of our Agency management team, you’ll be a driver of success and a key contributor to our creative reputation.

You will be a crucial part of the TomTom Creative Agency and will:

- Art direct all video, photography, and motion content produced internally and externally.
- Develop ideas to bring our stories to life in the best format relevant for the campaign and/or initiative.
- Develop guidelines and tools for brand consistency.
- Partner and forge new relationships with directors, production companies, and agencies, bringing in the best for the work required.
- Maintain and nurture image banks, stock footage, and source files. This includes rights management, quarterly updates, and communication to the business.
- Deliver a consistent look and feel across photography, film, and motion content.
- Work closely with copywriters to create seamless integration between written content and visual elements.
- Stay up to date with the latest design language and cultural trends to infuse fresh perspectives into our communication strategies.

This role requires substantial cross-functional collaboration across all areas of the business,
- communications team, social, events team, and agencies to create effective digital design
- solutions across all our marketing efforts. Your teammates sit in the TomTom Creative Studio


**What you'll need**:

- Demonstrates the following skills:

- Proven experience in the art direction for photography, videography, and film.
- Able to translate briefs into effective ideas to support client objectives.
- Proficient in photography pre/postproduction methods.
- Proficient in pre, during, and postproduction for film and video including casting, location, editing, grading, sound design, and subtitles, to name a few.
- Proficient in CGI production, animations, and green screen.
- Ability to write a brief and de-brief.
- Understanding of Brand, Tone of Voice, and Audience (i.e., look, tone, and feel).
- Knowledge of industry trends and ability to incorporate these into developed work.
- Develop visual style, in some cases, guiding the in-house photographer determining lighting and composition and planning camera angles.
- Have a strong point of view. Able to shape a narrative, and work with directors and/or producers to guide a strong story.
- Deliver ideas that are creative and appropriate for the business.
- Conceptual thinking and the ability to think visually.
- Communicate concepts to team members quickly and effectively and demonstrate the ability to present concepts to clients clearly and concisely.
- Ability to support creative ideas with fact-based rationale.
- Manage schedules and meet deadlines.
- Show project leadership by delegating work to and managing interns as well as outside resources.
- Be our brand advocate. Ensure that everything you deliver, as well as others, is on brand and executed at the highest level
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in design or related field preferred.
- 5+ years in photography, videography, and/or film production.
- Ability to provide a strong POV, evaluate creative, and provide actionable creative direction feedback to agencies.
- Ability to see the big picture as well as strong attention to detail.
- At ease and confident working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong project management and decision-making skills.
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, articulate, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a strong teamwork ethic; must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expressive and creative; able to adapt content to different target groups and touchpoints.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Motivated, positive attitude, and results-oriented.
- Tech or automotive industry experience is preferred but not required
