**How will you make an impact?**
The Applications Scientist provides technical expertise in the support of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s sales efforts at specific semiconductor customer sites
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct customer training and translate customer needs into workable solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to determine customer needs and provide technical solutions
**How Will You Get Here?**
The desired qualifications for this position are:
- A University degree in Materials Science, Chemistry and or Physics, an advanced degree is preferred. Bachelor's degree is required.
- A willingness to develop a deep understanding and learn hands on skills of how electron microscopes are used within the semiconductor industry
Demonstrating the ability to follow set tasks and assignments as an individual contributor, whilst also exhibiting an innovative attitude.
- Excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse audience are critical to the success of this position.
- Proficiency in German would be highly beneficial.
