**About the role**:
Join Reckitt, a global leader in consumer health and hygiene, as **Procurement Category Manager for Marketing spend**. Lead the charge to drive innovative procurement solutions that will streamline our operations and contribute to our sustainability efforts. In this forward-thinking role, you'll be pivotal in crafting procurement strategies that support our company's ambitions, while optimising costs and nurturing solid supplier partnerships. This is an opportunity that combines strategic vision with tangible achievements - a role where your influence extends beyond procurement, touching every facet of our business.

Lead the procurement of a subsection of a global category under the supervision of the Global Category Lead. The planned sub-section for this role is under review, but likely to be working alongside the Category Lead on AOR projects as well as working with some of our other sub-categories such as Public Relations/Corporate Affairs and Medical Marketing.

**Your responsibilities**:

- In summary, you'll:
- Craft procurement strategies that integrate seamlessly with our company's goals, balancing efficiency with quality.
- Cultivate robust supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Guide and nurture the procurement team to excel in their roles and achieve their best performance.
- Manage the procurement life cycle, ensuring smooth sourcing, purchasing, and contract management activities.
- Unlock cost savings and supply chain enhancements that raise the bar for how we do business.
- Work in unison with various internal teams to ensure procurement plans align with broader business objectives.

**The experience we're looking for**:

- Seasoned expertise in procurement or marketing, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.
- A keen eye for negotiations and a proven track record of managing supplier relations and cost savings.
- Inspirational leadership with a flair for steering teams towards success.
