**What are you going to do?**

As the right hand to the Director Group Finance & Control, you’ll lead the Group FP&A team (5 FTE) to deliver insights and support decision-making. You’ll oversee the Group planning and control cycle, drive continuous improvement, and provide actionable advice to senior leaders.

Key area’s of focus:

- **Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and inspire the FP&A team, ensuring professional growth and excellent performance.
- **Strategic Insights**: Deliver actionable analysis that highlights risks and opportunities for the Group Executive Committee.
- **Innovation**: Be part of a digital transformation of the finance function, introducing Data Analytics, BI, and Automated Reporting.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Champion the simplification and enhancement of FP&A processes to improve reporting. Create an FP&A community that fosters collaboration and best practices across countries.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Serve as a key liaison for the finance leadership team across markets, our Private Equity shareholder, and the Executive Committee, aligning on financial planning and reporting.
- **Sustainability Focus**: Support the implementation of ESG initiatives at a group level.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on projects such as improving price and margin insights, boosting forecasting accuracy, and optimizing cash flow. These initiatives will have a tangible impact on Mediq’s growth and operational excellence.

**What is your background?**

You’re a seasoned finance leader with a strong track record in international settings. You bring:

- A university degree in economics or business administration, with a Post-Master's in Controlling (RC) preferred.
- Over 7-10 years in senior finance roles, including FP&A leadership.
- Experience driving finance function transformations and implementing digital roadmaps.
- Familiarity with tools like Cognos Controller, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong team management capabilities to lead a high-performing team.
- A champion communicator who can tell the story behind the numbers and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Fluency in English is a must (Dutch is a plus) and experience in multi-country organizations.
- Previous exposure to private equity settings is a significant advantage.
