Job SummaryThe Global Key Account Marketer for Food Ingredients will manage the marketing efforts globally to drive growth at GKA’s by identifying opportunities, delivering insights and perspectives on market trends and dynamics, providing strategic thinking, defending business, and building long term strategic relationships.

A key expectation of this role will be to clearly define the value proposition for the customer in a compelling way, and navigate the internal organization, engaging with stakeholders to secure resources to deliver on opportunities. This requires strong influence management and communication skills to ensure alignment and focus on customer requests, as well as ensuring adequate support will be provided from all functions. This role requires strong ability to prioritize needs, focusing on the most impactful areas as customer requests fluctuate and projects evolve, escalating to gain support if needed.

Required training, education and experience:
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business or Economics, MBA Preferred- B2B Marketing or Account Based Marketing Experience - 10 years of experience focusing on customer facing marketing roles- Understanding of B2B business and/ or food sector- Demonstrated experience in value selling, understanding customer needs, and project/pipeline generation.- Experience in international roles and/or multicultural environments

Strong understanding of marketing strategies- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, research, approaches and measuring impact.- Leverages consumer and market insights to create strategies and solution.- Understand and interpret market dynamics, consumer drivers, customer landscapes, and competitive environment.

Strong communication and presentation skills- Able to prepare, create & deliver interactive presentations that engage the customers and highlight how IFF adds value and is able to solve their challenges.- Create new approaches, tools and creative executions to deliver uncommon customer experiences

Customer centric mindset- Partner with GKA Leaders to understand how marketing can contribute to business objectives.- Collaborate across functions & regions to customize the approach to fit customer needs.- Leverages consumer and market insights to create strategies and solutions that fit customer needs.

Major accountabilities:
30%- Top-to-Top and R&D Strategic Partnership meetings- Develop the agenda & align expectations.- Collaborate with other functions & drive the execution- Follow up actions and projects to drive growth

15-20%- Proactive opportunities to partner.- Define the opportunity together with Sales team & IC&D- Align with customer on expectations.- Build the story, value proposition & drive execution.

10-15%- Stay connected with regional & global marketing & innovation teams.- Being informed of what innovations, new launches, category growth initiatives regionally & globally to make relevant recommendations to strategy.- collaborate with GKA & functional leaders to identify which innovations and initiatives are most relevant for their account to drive strategic growth, develop plan and execute.- Share knowledge and best practices among GKAs
