**Who we are**
The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Collectively we employ over 700 people across 35 offices in 20 countries around the world. We work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying those to the international food and feed industry. Cefetra Group is part of the German, stocklisted BayWa group of companies.

**Our strategy**
For BayWa and Cefetra Group, sustainability is a strong business driver. The United Nations and Bloomberg even selected BayWa as one of “**50 Sustainability and Climate Leaders**” worldwide for our pro-active leadership in sustainability and climate protection. With roots in the feed industry as a supplier of various proteins, cereals and oilseeds/(vegetable) oils, Cefetra Group is looking to further expand its portfolio in the coming years. Thereby transforming into a trader and supply chain manager of high-quality ingredients across different industries. Supported by its clear ’Ingredients in action' strategy, Cefetra Group is actively seeking new growth areas within the food, nutrition and health markets.

**The assignment**
The Cefetra Group has a role to play in the transformation of the agri-food system. This starts with baselining: gaining a more detailed insight into our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and working to reduce them across the supply chains in which we operate. As part of our Sustainability team, you will work in the project team focused on setting GHG reduction targets and supporting the development of long-term plans to achieve them. You will be responsible for organizing and reporting on GHG Task Force meetings and gathering the information needed to prepare plans and reports. You will work with our dedicated sustainability team and will also assist them with various projects. The role also involves keeping up-to-date with industry best practice and contributing to innovative solutions to sustainability challenges in the agri-commodity and food sector.

**Job requirements**
Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded and curious. You can work both independently and with people from all layers within the entire Cefetra Group. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

- You’re a student or graduate of a relevant degree programme
- You have a strong interest/affinity in sustainability and environmental issues;
- You will have excellent research and analytical skills;
- You have a good command of English, written and spoken. You'll communicate in English on a daily basis;
- Speaking Dutch is not essential;
- Working proficiency of basic data analysis tools (e.g. Excel) is critical;
- You're eager to learn and contribute to sustainable business practices.
