Job Title: Senior Associate International Tax

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate International Tax professional to join our international practice. As a Senior Associate, you will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team with a impressive client portfolio. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. As a Senior Associate International Tax, you will be directly involved in advising international clients on complex tax matters, including corporate tax, dividend tax, withholding tax, payroll tax, and tax treaties. You will work closely with colleagues from other practice groups, including Corporate Notariaat, Employment, Finance, and Litigation. You will also have a coaching and mentoring role within the Direct Tax team, aiming to develop the skills and expertise of your colleagues.

Our clients include international operating businesses, organizations, and governments: from listed multinationals to sovereign wealth funds and everything in between. In our daily practice, you will work closely with other practice groups and have a coordinating role towards international colleagues and specialists. You will build your own client portfolio and contribute to the growth of the Tax practice and the firm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Advising international clients on complex tax matters, including corporate tax, dividend tax, withholding tax, payroll tax, and tax treaties
  • Working closely with colleagues from other practice groups, including Corporate Notariaat, Employment, Finance, and Litigation
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues within the Direct Tax team
  • Identifying opportunities for optimal advice and service delivery
  • Coordinating with international colleagues and specialists
  • Building your own client portfolio and contributing to the growth of the Tax practice
About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A completed Dutch master's degree in fiscal law or fiscal economics
  • A completed NOB education
  • 6-10 years of experience in international tax advisory practice, with experience in the US being an advantage
  • A strong sense of entrepreneurship and an international mindset
  • A convincing and energetic personality, assertive and proactive
  • A desire to develop and grow within the firm
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
