Job Description

We're seeking an experienced SHE-Q professional to join our team as a Safety Expert for Heavy Transport and Lifting Operations in Europe. As a pivotal member of the Project Team, you'll provide support to apply our rigorous safety and quality policies, mentoring and motivating staff and subcontractors to enhance their safety awareness and behaviors.

  • You will engage in risk assessment sessions (TRA's, Project Risk Assessments, HAZID/HAZOP) to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Craft and evaluate project SHE/Q/E plans and those of subcontractors to ensure compliance with our requirements.
  • Perform workplace inspections, advising and training our team on safety risks and standards, and lead safety presentations and on-the-job training.
  • Participate in various SHE-Q related meetings, both internally and with clients, and conduct incident investigations and assess safety and environmental risks.
  • Compile SHE-Q reports and manage related notifications in our systems, supporting management in advancing our safety policies by keeping abreast of market trends and translating them into internal procedures.
  • Oversight of internal and external audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within civil engineering, construction, renewable energy, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining sectors.
  • Proficiency in SHE-Q regulations and systems.
  • Minimum MBO level of working and thinking.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with heavy transport and lifting operations is an advantage.
