About the Role
The Sr. Supply Chain Planner at ADM acts as the orchestrator of the supply chain, responsible for managing production flow from production plants and 3rd party suppliers into warehouses. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure the right stocks are in place at the right time to fulfill customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales on forecasting and determining production, shipping, and rework quantities.
- Enter, follow up, and coordinate purchase orders, manage relationships with logistic service providers, co-manufacturers, and re-packers.
- Define safety stock settings and manufacturing strategies, manage inventory, including reducing slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Master data support and manage planning parameters in our planning tools, process and costs improvement, monthly reporting of figures on inventory, service, and costs.
- Support further improvements and implementations of planning systems and other tools, manage factory supply chain together with local operations.
Requirements
- HBO degree, APICS qualification preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in a planning and/or supply chain related field, knowledge of export/import documentation.
- Broad experience of SAP/JDE or other ERP systems, skilled in Excel & PowerPoint.
- Flexible and stress-resistant, customer-focused, ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple, competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills, focused on performance and results, fluent in English is a must, Dutch is preferred.
