Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Onsite Services Cummins Roermond. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating single machines, ensuring the production of exhaust systems/catalysts according to instructions. You will work independently, supported by a succeeding operator or Gap Leader, and will contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend start-up meeting at start of shift at team board;
  • Receiving work instructions from the Gap Leader;
  • Reading and studying work instructions.

Performance Indicators:
  • Under supervision, operates robotised/automated machines and monitors? of production process;
  • Produces products according to prescribed standards and work instructions;
  • In case of major breakdown, damage and/or machine failure, inform the Gap Leader;
  • Work is performed according to 5S and quality, health & safety, environmental and safety requirements are met as described in the procedures.

Additional Tasks:
  • Constant visual inspection regarding the product, damages and the place of work according to the work instruction;
  • Checking the produced products, using a caliper or control mold;
  • Documenting the control findings in the production control forms provided;
  • Reports product deviations to the Gap Leader, stops process and escalates to Gap Leader.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Willing to work in a 2 or 3 shift system;
  • Experience as an Assembly Worker or Production Worker is a plus;
  • Experience in the Metal Industry or Automotive is a plus;
  • You work accurately and correctly;
  • You are able to work independently;
  • You can work well in a team and have a motivated, positive attitude.

Benefits:
  • A starting salary of € 18,09 gross per hour (incl. shift bonus) in 2- shifts;
  • A starting salary of € 18,80 gross per hour (incl. shift bonus) in 3- shifts;
  • € 0,80 ADV allowance, € 0,26 SAO allowance, € 0,29 CAO allowance.
  • 8.33% holiday money;
  • 25 holidays per year based on full-time employment;
  • Travel allowance from 10 km one way;
  • A full-time position for a longer period, in 2 or 3 shifts, with a chance of taking over by Cummins good performance;
