Business IT Advisor: Energy Transition Expert

TenneT is a leading European grid operator, committed to providing a secure and reliable supply of electricity. As a Business IT Advisor, you will play a key role in driving the energy transition by ensuring business requirements are well-defined and provide value to end-users.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary between €3,879 and €7,660 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and end-users to define and optimize software applications. You will identify opportunities for improvement and translate these into software development requirements. Additionally, you will work with the Product Owner, domain experts, and end-users to discuss acceptance criteria and write requirements that maximize value for Energy System Planning while considering broader goals of TenneT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Determine and develop user requirements for software applications in alignment with the product owner, business stakeholders, and end-users.
• Manage enhancement requests to ensure they align with business goals and objectives.
• Ensure thorough quality assurance and comprehensive functional documentation.
• Demonstrate end-to-end thinking and foster open dialogue and transparency in line with TenneT's cultural values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis and/or functional application management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
• Experience with business process analysis, design, and documentation.
• Relevant experience in the software development lifecycle and agile way of working in cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and Dutch language (or an interest to learn).
