Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronic Design Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. in the field of Mobile Robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechatronic systems, including control systems, sensing systems, and actuation systems for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate mechatronic systems with the overall robot system.
  • Develop algorithms for controlling the motion and behavior of AMRs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in mechatronic engineering or a related field, preferably in the autonomous mobile robot industry.
  • Knowledge of control systems, robotics, and mechatronics.
  • Familiarity with working with sensors, actuators, and other mechatronic components.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SolidWorks and its PDM/PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of EPlan.
  • Design experience specifically with AMRs.
  • Experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to verify designs.
