We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. The successful candidate will pursue a PhD thesis on value creation with marginalized stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Pursue and complete a PhD thesis within the appointed duration of four years, following PhD-level coursework, planning, and conducting research.
- Collaborate with researchers from Amsterdam Business School.
- Present research findings at international conferences.
- Submit work to high-quality management science journals.
- Assist in teaching activities, such as tutorials and MSc thesis supervision.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent speaking and writing ability in English.
- Willingness and motivation to independently formulate research projects and carry them through to completion.
- Familiarity with qualitative research methods or a willingness to develop these skills.
- Willingness to travel abroad for data collection, conferences, and extended visits to other universities.
What We Offer
- A competitive compensation package at the European level.
- An employment contract for 38 hours a week with an initial period of 18 months.
- The possibility to extend the contract for 30 months after an intermediate evaluation.
- A gross monthly salary ranging between €2,000 and €3,000, excluding holiday allowance and year-end bonus.
