Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our second-line risk management team at Brand New Day. As a Credit Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing credit risks in our loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and stress-test our residential mortgage and SME loan portfolios to identify potential credit risks and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain credit risk models to determine expected credit losses and ensure accurate risk assessments.
- Monitor and report on credit risk limits, risk appetite, and credit risk dashboard performance.
- Review investment proposals and performance of existing portfolios and third-party originators (TPOs) to ensure alignment with our risk management framework.
- Stay up-to-date with new laws and regulations, ensuring our risk management framework remains compliant and effective.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quantitative background and experience in credit risk analysis.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining credit risk models, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Higher education in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
- At least 5 years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on residential mortgages or SME loans.
