Job Title: Senior Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

The European School The Hague is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide secretarial support to the Head of Operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for organizing and monitoring the agenda and calendar of the Head of Operations, collaborating with other Personal Assistants within the school, and helping with the archiving of documents within teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and monitoring the agenda and calendar of the Head of Operations
  • Collaborating with other Personal Assistants within the school
  • Helping with the archiving of documents within teams

Requirements:

  • Experience in an international and multilingual environment
  • Fluent (C2 level) in the English and Dutch language (spoken and written)
  • Proven senior management secretarial skills and knowledge of internal administrative and procedural regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience dealing with confidential or sensitive subject matter
  • Excellent IT skills (Office)
  • Proactive and assertive attitude
  • Living in the Netherlands

What We Offer:

  • A temporary appointment based on the Dutch collective labour agreement for secondary education (CAO VO)
  • Pay scale 7, OOP, maximum €3,500 gross per month
  • A holiday allowance of 8%
  • A year-end bonus of 8.5% of the gross annual salary
