We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Air Freight operations in the designated region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business policies, pricing strategies, and operational plans to maximize profitability and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and pricing strategies to enhance profitability and market share.
- Coordinate international operations, including Export, Import, and Customs activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
- Ensure Operations teams meet customer requirements and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Provide guidance to Export, Import, and Gateway teams to align with overall business strategy and comply with local market regulations.
- Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement and optimization of product offerings.
- Foster a high-performance service culture within the Export and Import departments.
- Achieve budgetary goals by establishing and tracking clear objectives.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong time management abilities, and demonstrated initiative.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contracting, negotiating, organizational development, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, combined with effective communication skills.
- Strategic planning capabilities with a strong customer orientation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or International Business, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with at least 6 years specifically in Air Freight and 2 years in a supervisory role.
