About this project
TNO Circular Plastics aims to address the challenges fossil-based plastics face with respect to the environmental impact. This project focuses on novel bio-based plastics, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques in an interdisciplinary approach where material science meets artificial intelligence.
Your role
As a researcher, you will work in a passionate team of scientists, consultants, and project managers. Your tasks will involve using programming skills and polymer science knowledge to support students in getting a taste of research outside academia and working with different stakeholders across the value chain.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of data science and polymer science is required.
- Data science involves data gathering, curing, and reviewing data from literature, as well as generating data using experiments and simulations (DFT, MD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Python is required, although fluency is a bonus.
