Deep Learning Intern: Coil ID Quality Measurement

As a Deep Learning Intern at Tata Steel, you will be working on a 4-6 month project to develop a model that measures the readability of coil IDs using computer vision and deep learning techniques.
About the ProjectThe project involves collecting thousands of images of coils from one of our coil release stations where Coil ID numbers are applied. Your task will be to apply feature engineering and develop a model using deep learning (such as OCR) to measure the readability of the coil IDs.

We are looking for a skilled student in computer vision or related fields (such as Data Science, Computer Science) to join our team. You should have experience with Python, OpenCV, and PyTorch or TensorFlow. As an independent worker, you will be responsible for determining your research approach, analyzing results, and reporting.
