About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Reporting and Balance Sheet Management to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for leading our reporting and balance sheet management functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our reporting and balance sheet management strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, including internal and external reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective financial reporting and management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Chief Financial Officer, Leadership Team, and external auditors.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Register Accountant and/or Register Controller certification.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience in finance, with a focus on reporting and compliance.
  • Proven expertise in internal and external reporting, balance sheet management, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
