Salary:
A generous base salary, with structured tenure pay increases and an uncapped commissions plan, offers unlimited earnings potential. The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to over $250,000 depending on experience and performance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within national and regional sales territories.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct calling, email, and contact efforts
- Work directly with the nation's leading IT decision-makers to provide current and future connectivity solutions
- Utilize consultative and relationship-building selling techniques to identify companies' current and future needs
- Sell Cogent's services into the nation's largest commercial and retail buildings, carrier-neutral hotels, data centers, and colocation facilities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a direct hunting, B2B sales role with quota achievement
- Ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research
- 4-8+ years of solid, B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation and wholesale experience
- Experienced and professional communication skills both oral and written
