Senior Regulatory Model Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Model Management Specialist to join our team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our Risk Data and Analytics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank makes informed, data-driven decisions.
The successful candidate will have a solid quantitative risk management background, complemented by a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements underlying capital calculation for credit risk. You will be responsible for translating the bank's business strategy into the model landscape, providing advice on model design, implementation, oversight, and performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice on model design, implementation, oversight, and performance
- Translating business strategy into the model landscape
- Ensuring model landscape properly reflects regulation, business practices, and processes
- Collaborating with modellers, policy department, and business stakeholders
- Providing clear and proper explanations of relevant regulations and internal policies
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of work experience in credit risk management, policy, and framework development or regulatory reporting. They will also have exceptional understanding of regulatory requirements regarding capital requirements for credit risk, including CRR, EBA Regulatory technical standards, and EBA Guidelines.
