About Us

Dsm firmenich, a renowned innovator in nutrition, health, and beauty, is seeking a skilled Financial Controller for the carve-out of its Animal Nutrition & Health business. As a trusted partner in this transformative project, you will join the Financial Control & Accounting (FC&A) EMEA team, comprising 140 professionals.

This exciting opportunity allows you to gain experience as an interim Financial Controller at leading companies, including ASML, DSM, Boels, and Envalior. With Yacht's support, you will have access to a large network of top companies and a wide knowledge network of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial activities of legal entities involved in the carve-out.
  • Execute financial planning, reporting, and monthly closings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Support asset and liability transfers to newly established legal entities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • (Post-)Bachelor or Master's in Accounting/Financial Controlling.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting, Controlling, or Audit.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial processes.
  • Experience with statutory audits and, ideally, Shared Service Centers.
  • ERP system expertise and, preferably, experience with carve-outs.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Hybrid work: 2-3 days per week in the Maastricht office.
  • Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous development.
