Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Medicine, affiliated with the School of Clinical Medicine

This role invites qualified candidates to engage with the Division of Cardiology, collaborating closely with the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health (HKSTP) to explore cutting-edge strategies aimed at addressing cardiovascular and genetic disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the research team on projects focusing on gene-editing and innovative therapeutic solutions for cardiovascular and hereditary diseases.
  • Effectively manage assigned responsibilities and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Robust expertise in stem cell and molecular biology, especially in gene-editing techniques.
  • Experience with methodologies such as CAS9/CRISPR, Patch clamp analysis, ion-optic based calcium analysis, and animal surgical procedures is preferred.

Benefits
