We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Nurse Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to a client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma, be physically fit, and possess basic knowledge of Duchenne's disease and lifting techniques. You will be involved in daily tasks, social activities, and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Managing the client's medical equipment and medication
- Assisting with cooking, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping
- Participating in social activities and outings with the client and their friends
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of € 17.70 gross/hour (ca. € 2,548 gross/month)
- A 36/40 hours a week contract with the possibility of living in the same house with the client or in one of our company's houses in Lienen
- Specific trainings and support to ensure your success in the role
Requirements:
- Nursing diploma
- Physically fit
- Basic knowledge of Duchenne's disease and lifting techniques
- Good command of the English language
- European passport and/or identity card
- Spanish speaking skills (if not Spanish)
- Available for a longer period of time
