Job Title: Homologation Engineer CoP

We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. As a key member of our Homologation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our vehicles with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure continuous compliance of Certificate of Conformity (CoC), ECE label, and type plate with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of Initial Vehicle Information (IVI) with both EC-regulations and local requirements.
  • Act as the Functional Application Manager (FAM) for the CoC editor software, analyzing and suggesting improvements.
  • Define business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (ITD, M&S, subsidiaries) and external authorities.
  • Test and validate CoC editor software updates in close cooperation with the IT department.
  • Support daily CoC generation process and rectify any incorrect CoCs as needed.
  • Provide assistance to DAF subsidiaries and offer guidance for vehicle registration processes in various countries.
  • Maintain and update quality procedures for CoCs, type plates, and ECE stickers.
  • Represent DAF in the ACEA working group for CoC and IVI developments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with or understanding of the certification and registration process.
  • Affinity for and experience with IT processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of the vehicle domain.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial personality.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
