Parts Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven "Parts Sales Engineer Services" to join our team at Damen Shipyards. In this role, you will be responsible for the proactive sales of spare parts within your designated region, Americas.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide them with the necessary spare parts and logistics support. This includes meeting with customers to discuss their requirements, negotiating prices and delivery times, and ensuring that all transactions are accurately processed and recorded.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Proactively approach and engage with (potential) customers to identify opportunities for spare parts sales.
  • Responsible for the sales of spare parts within your designated region, Americas.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or commercial field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within a Service Department.
  • Strong communication skills in English (near-native level). Spanish or Portuguese language skills are an advantage.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
