Senior Asset Diagnostics Expert

We are now seeking a skilled Senior Asset Diagnostics Expert to join our team in Drunen, The Netherlands. As a key member of our Propulsion Expertise Centre, you will be responsible for performing vibration analysis for rotating equipment, oil analysis, control system, and hydraulic performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality condition-based maintenance (CBM) data analysis and create reports to support equipment maintenance.
  • Offer technical support in your areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance and asset management concepts to enhance the business of Wärtsilä customers.
  • Collaborate with sales organizations to improve the success rate of the offering process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, asset management, marine engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with or a strong interest in propulsion equipment, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and/or condition-based maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge and interest in hydraulics, hydrodynamics, and control systems.
  • Affinity with scripting and/or programming (e.g., in MATLAB) is an asset.
  • English and Dutch language skills are mandatory.
  • Good communication and analytical skills, along with technical reporting skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive attitude and ability to learn.
