Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Description:

A shore engineer dry equipment or heavy duty mechanic is a person who works for a maritime company with a workshop land based. In the workshop, maintenance is carried out for heavy duty equipment, electrical equipment, and wet equipment. The dry equipment is the maintenance of heavy duty engines such as excavators, dozers, wheelloaders, scrapers, etc.

Candidate Skills & Attributes:

  • Expertise in technical and troubleshooting repairs of marine engines;
  • Background as chief engineer in fishing or offshore industry;
  • Team player;
  • Safety awareness, conscious, reliable;
  • Adaptable to harsh environments;
  • Willing to work long hours, min 12 per day;
  • Confident with modern technology and computer systems;
  • Preference South African, Zimbabwean nationals.

Salary Package:
