Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Team Lead to join our Mechanical Constructions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical designers in project settings, ensuring the successful delivery of complex mechanical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 5-10 people in project settings, ensuring the successful delivery of complex mechanical projects.
  • Plan and coordinate team activities, create and execute team plans to realize hardware deliverables according to project plans.
  • Solve problems based on deep and broad content knowledge, providing guidance on technical issues.
  • Manage risks and customer requirements, developing mechanical competence and individual team members.
  • Incorporate externally designed modules from co-developers, supporting the production and customer engineering process.

Requirements

  • Technical University master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a development and engineering organization, with at least 3 years of experience in leading design teams.
  • Broad knowledge in mechanics, including construction principles, statics, dynamics, and thermal.
  • Excellent knowledge in manufacturability of mechanical parts, technical communication with suppliers.

Skills

  • Organizational talent, team player/coach, broad scope, good communication skills, motivate others and cooperate.
  • Critical on results, deal with uncertainties.

Context of the Position

Within ASML, the Development & Engineering department is responsible for the specification and design of ASML products. The Mechanical Development cluster designs, builds, and tests mechanical systems and sub-systems.

As a part of the Mechanical Architecture EUV department, the Mechanical Constructions EUV High NA group is responsible for engineering main frame constructions, service mechanisms, system enclosures, and system to fab interfaces for ASML's next-generation product.

The Senior Team Lead reports to the Group Leader Mechanical Constructions and operates within multidisciplinary projects.
