Key Responsibilities

The Production Scheduling Expert will support the production of Avantor ́s single-use solutions for our Fluid Handling business at our site.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to driving efficiency, innovation, and quality within our production processes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure materials and resources are available for production.
  • Track production progress, identify delays, and adjust schedules as necessary to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material inventories, and work orders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between production, sales, and customer service teams regarding scheduling issues.
  • Continuously analyze production processes and schedules to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and resource utilization.
  • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in production scheduling, preferably in the biopharma or related manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in production scheduling software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
