Job Description
We're seeking a seasoned Head of Business Performance Controlling to lead our controlling team and partner with the business to drive change and improvement. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for driving decision-making through a deep understanding of performance drivers and trends. Your strong commercial insights will enable you to provide accurate and timely insights on efficiency, scale, and working capital, both backward and forward-looking.
As the head of BPC, you will be the key driver of business performance management practices, leading the change throughout the organization. Your excellent knowledge of retail and e-commerce will enable you to engage with the CFO, CEO, and other members of the management team on business decisions and daily operations. You will also help stakeholders understand business drivers and possible alternatives for decisions, as well as benchmark against the market.
With a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach, you will be involved in daily tasks, working on decision support, P&L and working capital controlling, forecasting, reporting, and dash boarding. You will also act as a senior sparring partner for different stakeholders and functional areas.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field; RC is an advantage and commercial driven
- Experience with M&A and post-merger integrations
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in a retail/e-commerce organization, with at least two in a team lead role
- Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills, with conceptual and commercial insights on a senior level
- Committed teamplayer
- Excellent change and stakeholder management, with experience in leading change projects and excellent interpersonal/leadership skills
- Experienced user of BI tooling and other reporting and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
- Full-time position in Zwolle and sometimes in Hilversum
