Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join our Proposals team in Southwest Netherlands and Flanders. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and diagrams to represent technical designs and their adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating detailed drawings and diagrams to effectively represent technical designs and their adherence to specifications
  • Assisting in the generation of various graphical representations, including 3D models and prototypes
  • Developing visual models of projects for clients using both digital and physical formats
  • Assessing spatial requirements and determining functional allocations within the layout of naval vessels
  • Conducting trade-off analyses to optimize the arrangement of onboard elements
  • Contributing to the overall design architecture of our projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Naval Engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in producing drawings and diagrams within the shipbuilding sector and visualizing concepts through hand sketches or drawings
  • Strong background in various design principles and practices, including hands-on involvement in coordinating the design process
  • Proficiency in multiple CAD software tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Rhino
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid references, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the hiring process
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between €60,000 - €80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer excellent working conditions, support for personal development (training and education), and opportunities for career advancement.
