About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative professional to lead our nutrition innovation platform at Corbion. As a key member of our team, you will design and drive the vision and strategy for our Nutrition innovation platform in alignment with Corbion's overall Innovation Center (IC) strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Strategy Development: Translate market and business insights into profitable business opportunities, collaborating with business, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
  • Execution of Innovation Roadmap: Develop and execute a detailed platform roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of plans within budget and quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, balancing internal and external support to drive innovation pipeline growth.
  • Inclusive Work Environment: Foster an inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  • Pipeline Health and Success: Ensure pipeline health, continuity, and evolution, maximizing profitability of existing solutions and launching new ones.
  • Relationship Building and Reporting: Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, reporting progress against budget, resources, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Project Opportunity Translation: Identify new project opportunities aligned with Corbion's market presence and segments.
  • Budget Planning: Plan the platform's budget to deliver growth and business success, aligning with the Platform Strategy, Roadmap, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

About You:

You will be a knowledgeable and business-savvy professional with strong interaction and influence capabilities across departments and business units. With 15+ years of experience in business-driven innovation and 5+ years in strategic roles, you will have proven ability to translate market and business insights into profitable business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • MSc in Animal and/or Human nutrition or a related field; preferably combined with an MBA.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-driven innovation strategies.
  • Strong partnership skills with marketing, business, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated drive for success and accountability.
