Job Summary

As a Global Compensation Specialist at Booking, you will play a key role in ensuring that our compensation practices are efficient and effective. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve compensation-related queries on a day-to-day basis, serving as the first point of escalation for employee and HRA compensation issues. You will also support our annual salary review process, test and improve compensation-related processes in Workday, and participate in salary surveys as needed. Additionally, you will prepare reports for management members and engage in process improvement and simplification to drive efficient compensation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve compensation-related queries on a day-to-day basis
Serve as the first point of escalation for employee and HRA compensation issues
Support annual salary review process
Test and improve compensation-related processes in Workday
Participate in salary surveys as needed
Prepare reports for management members
Engage in process improvement and simplification to drive efficient compensation practices
Update and maintain Rewards content on Employee Service Center

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years related human resource, employee compensation experience or equivalent work experience
Experience with reporting and processing sensitive/confidential employee information
Ability to work in a team and independently
Effective communication skills
Working knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft office
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail, analytical, and logical thinker with a drive to improve our current processes
General knowledge of Workday or other HRIS preferred
Ability to juggle priorities with ease and know how to make good trade-offs when needed
