The Principal Process Inspector is a key role within the Shell Chemie Moerdijk inspection team, responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of inspection processes.

About the Role

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Focus on safety and integrity by ensuring compliance with Dutch Legislation, Design Codes, and Shell standards.
  • Steer quality and lean end-to-end work processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Train and develop next-generation inspectors to ensure knowledge transfer and succession planning.
  • Liaise with EU-CBI and NL-CBI (IVG toezichthouder) to maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Dutch language proficiency is essential for this role.
  • Significant experience in business processes combined with extensive experience in pressure system inspections in the hydrocarbon production/refining industries.
  • Extensive relevant experience in data management systems, including AW routing in w-IMS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical engineering or related field supplemented with relevant engineering qualifications.
  • Certified SKK3
