We are seeking a skilled New Product Developer to join our R&D team. As a New Product Developer, you will be responsible for developing new products in the field of shock absorbers, hydropneumatics suspension, and other related applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concept, feasibility, and design of new products or new ranges of products in collaboration with Application Engineering, Quality, and Industrial Engineering teams.
  • Realization of 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs of new prototypes and products.
  • Follow-up of prototype realization and testing.
  • Management of NPD projects using a toll-gate system to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Design of products with a strong focus on 'Design to Manufacturing' and 'Design to Cost' principles.
  • Leadership of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) approaches to design.
  • Responsibility for internal norms regarding design, materials, welding, and other related aspects.
  • Identification and promotion of innovation projects.
  • Collaboration with the R&D Director to define the product evolution roadmap based on market and management inputs.
  • Promotion of standardization of components, materials, and tolerances across different product ranges.
  • Promotion and implementation of VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) ideas.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced New Product Developer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Aeronautical, Automotive). The ideal candidate will have about 5 years of experience in a comparable role and knowledge of designing shock absorbers, hydraulic valves, hydraulic systems, and suspension systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of principles and design of hydraulic shock absorbers, hydropneumatics suspension, and related products. Additionally, they will have proficiency in 3D Solidworks, Pro-E, and Matlab/Simulink, as well as experience in new product development and innovation projects.
