About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our global network infrastructure.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in network administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining our global network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Monitoring and optimizing network performance, ensuring seamless communication between locations.
  • Collaborating with our Systems and Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Providing expert-level support to our internal clients, responding to their technical queries and resolving their issues efficiently.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with the installation and maintenance of new hardware and software.
  • Managing and administering our Azure and VMware server environments.
  • Designing and implementing network security measures to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Collaborating with our 3rd-party vendors to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in related IT infrastructure.
  • Expert-level knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with IPSEC VPN technology, Cisco ISRs, DMVPN, and Fortinet.
  • Able to troubleshoot network issues from network connectivity, routing, and firewall issues, through DNS and higher-level protocols.
  • Cisco CCNA and Fortinet certifications are required.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls is highly desirable.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
