About the Operations Supervisor Position:
Boston Scientific is committed to advancing science for life, and we're looking for a skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team.
As an Operations Supervisor at Boston Scientific, you will be responsible for leading a team of motivated members, fostering a customer-centric mindset, and driving process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capabilities and best support operations/business.
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, warehouse environment, and excellent leadership/team management skills. A successful track record as a people leader is essential, along with strong administrative and analytical problem-solving skills. Continuous improvement attitude and excellent verbal & written communication skills (Dutch and English) are also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing a high-performing team
- Providing direction, support, and coaching to employees
- Effectively supervising processes and efficiency of operational departments
- Leading Core Teams in setting priorities, decision making, driving improvements, process standardization, and cost savings
- Analyzing trends in demand volume and type and escalating where needed
- Pro-active communication and alignment with stakeholders on meeting internal SLA's
- Maintaining a team with required knowledge and expertise to support regular flow and exceptions
- Responsible for safety, health, quality, and ergonomics on the department
- Managing, motivating, and developing employees through coaching and performance management
- Ensuring all employees within your department are trained according to procedures
- Ensuring all employees are involved and contribute in CI, PS, and 5S program
- Responsible for overall production capacity for daily operational activities
- Providing accurate measurements, reports, and timely metrics to MT
- Coordinating information concerning recup/sickness/holidays and communicating to HR
- Acting as subject matter expert during internal and external audits
- Executing local strategy in accordance with budget
- Overall responsible for departmental time registration
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
