CONTRACT MANAGEMENT ROLE
We are seeking a seasoned Contract Manager to join our team at SBM Offshore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract management, specifically in brownfield projects, with a strong understanding of contract drafting, negotiation, and execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide contract management support to the Project Manager and their team.
- Lead the formation, negotiation, and execution of Enabling Agreement and Work Order terms for Project Work.
- Assess changes, claims, and delays under the Enabling Agreement and Work Order terms.
- Liaise with insurance for event coverage.
- Assist supply chain professionals with the preparation of standard forms of contracting.
- Maintain accurate records for all correspondence and keep the Project Manager regularly updated.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or MBA in Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Contract Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- 5-10 years' experience in Contract, Commercial, or Project Management, preferably in the Oil and Gas Offshore industry.
- Strong demonstration of written advocacy.
- Experience in negotiating outcomes and involvement in claims resolution.
- Post-Award contract management experience in Lump Sum, Reimbursable, and Remeasurable pricing structures.
