Job Summary
    Bidfood, a leading online wholesaler for hotels, restaurants, and bars in the Netherlands, is seeking an Order Picker to join its team at the National Distribution Center (LDC) or the National Fresh Center (LVC). As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality products are delivered to these establishments.

    About the Role
    As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to assemble orders using instructions from the voice-picking system. This involves locating products, placing them in roll-carts, and delivering the full container to the loading point. You will work closely with the formers who receive the carts, and then move on to the next order. Physical work, such as lifting boxes up to 20 kg, is also a key aspect of this role.

    Shifts and Work Environment
    The working hours may vary, but you can expect to work morning shifts, afternoon shifts, or night shifts. The job requires you to be physically fit, as you will be involved in lifting heavy boxes. Additionally, you will occasionally work on Saturdays or Sundays. In the first three weeks, you will be required to work either morning or afternoon shifts. One in every four weeks, you will work a night shift from 22:00-06:30, performing various tasks. You will have the opportunity to work in either the LDC or the LVC, both located in Ede.

    What We Offer
    As a Warehouse Employee at Bidfood, you can expect a salary ranging from €13.68 to €27.62, depending on the position and allowance. You will also receive travel expenses reimbursement, pension plan after one day worked, and good, informal working atmosphere. Furthermore, we offer affordable, tasty meals in the company canteen. For those working in the cold location, an extra €0.53 per hour is provided. After three weeks, your salary will increase.

    Requirements
    To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate in Dutch or English. It is preferable that you already have experience with tasks like order picking. You should have reliable transportation due to the early start times. Public transport is not feasible. Additionally, you should be willing to adapt to changes in shifts when needed. You should be a team player who enjoys getting things done. You must also be available to work at least 16 hours per week, including weekends. Full-time options are also available. Prior experience with a voice-picking system is advantageous.
